A Thousand Words

1) I've been bad about doing the updates on that Skyrim game. =/ I've been saving screencaps, just not uploading/posting them.

2) Started reading Nightwing (old stuff, not DCnU) and am in love. Also, downloaded Red Hood and the Outlaws to see if it got better after the horribleness I heard about the first issue, and it seems to! Have made mental note to purchase it when I get the chance.

3) Read the plot blurb for the Cal Leandros book that's coming in March and I gotta say, was not expecting Thurman to actually have Niko's dad show up. It's weird, I kind of wanted him to show just so Cal could be a jerk to him for Niko, but. Was not expecting it. o__O;;

4) Web of Trust is telling me that InsaneJournal is unsafe, what.

I have some screenshots to post from my old game, but I started a new game in Skyrim with a Nord character who I named Kairin. Now that I have a better grip on the plot and how to take screencaps effectively, it should be less jumbled and more Let's-Play-esque (except not a Let's Play because I don't know how to do one of those, Trev is the Let's Play reader/watcher, not me.)

Anti-demon, anti-blood magic, pro-mage, anti-slavery and non-jerk ways to rival Merill:

Avoid taking Merrill on major quests until Act 2. As far as I'm aware, the only rivalry you can get from Merrill during Act 1 while being pro-mage is during Welcome Home by choosing Don't thank me.

I keep getting most of the way through a dungeon before dying. It's kind of annoying. =/
Also, low/medium quality again, sorry. I keep dialing it up to the suggested medium, then going "But what if this is slowing it down?" and then I go back to low again.

I've been playing Skyrim obsessively for the last few days (though not as obsessively as some, I've noticed), and have recently discovered that, hark! You can make screencaps very easily on Steam and it will keep them all for you.

So this came up when I was talking to Trevor, and I've been not-updatey lately, so I figured I'd write about it.

When I first got into Saiyuki, I shipped Sanzo/Goku and Homura/Goku, mainly. Since then, my interest in both ships has dwindled: Homura/Goku because Homura's an anime-only character and thus has no new material coming out featuring him, Sanzo/Goku because of developments in the manga.

TL;DR: I think the manga has been establishing more and more firmly that Sanzo and Goku's relationship is very very platonic and I have ~theories~ about Sanzo and sexuality which make reading Sanzo slash a bit difficult for me.

I'll probably want to reword this whole thing in the morning. It's waaaay too late.
